Reflections at the Pond with Honeysuckle Mountain Design & Events

Reflections at the Pond is an Event Venue 25 minutes west of Asheville and is managed by Honeysuckle Mountain Design & Events. The 16 acre property is easily accessible year-round and is an immaculately maintained and landscaped field with a large pond in the center. Guests are greeted with a breathtaking lane of trees along the paved entrance leading to a 1,800 square foot, three bedroom and three bath cottage and an amazing saltwater pool and pool house. Miles of mountains frame the property and provide endless photo opportunities.

Construction will begin soon on a 5,000 square foot event center with a grand opening planned for the summer of 2017, just in time for your special day! The climate controlled pavilion will open to a large outdoor porch area where guests can enjoy cool mountain breezes, the Carolina blue sky the scent of honeysuckle and reflections in the pond. The pavilion will include a caterer’s kitchen, sound system, dance floor and all the amenities needed to make your day simply extraordinary!

About Us

Donna Brown Clark – Co-Owner

Donna is a detail-oriented, conservative business person with an artistic soul. A graduate of Western Carolina University she recently retired from a thirty year career in local government as a CFO.

Often accused of being a perfectionist, Donna directs her passion for excellence into everything she does from event logistics to design. She is obsessed with details and believes that the specifics are what set apart ordinary events from extraordinary events.

Donna and her husband, Rodney live in Clyde on their family farm, which is managed by their daughter Rachel. An avid gardener, Donna grows much of the natural foliage used in her designs.

Nicole Evans-Brown – Co Owner

Nicole exudes creativity and radiates a positive energy. With her talent, charm, and love of conversation, she easily develops positive relationships with her clients, colleagues and vendors.

Nicole has worked in the pharmaceutical industry for more than 20 years, as a project implementation manager. Her ability to listen, envision and plan allows her to relate to her client’s needs, and have a greater understanding of the direction for the event or design space.

Nicole is a native of Haywood County, she is married to Patrick, owner of Brown Electrical and they live in Lake Logan community on a Black Angus cattle farm with their two Labrador retrievers.
